Magnificent property for a truly magical event

Frequently Asked Questions

How far in advance should we book?

Villa Punto de Vista usually books 12-18 months in advance, so we recommend making your villa reservation as early as possible.

Do all the guest rooms in the villa have their own restrooms?

Yes, all the accommodations are en-suite, meaning they have their own private bathroom.

Is the villa close to a private beach?

Fun fact: There are actually no private beaches in Costa Rica. All beaches are public. However, the beach, which is just a short walk or a 1-minute buggy ride from the villa, feels private most days.

Are there golf courses near the villa?

There’s a great golf course just over an hour from the villa. Your pre-arrival concierge can book transportation there for you. But, a lot of our guests, while they love golf, do decide to stay at the villa and soak up all the beauty right in the backyard!

What are the check-out policies? Do we need to clean and take out sheets, etc.?

Absolutely not! We’re not an Airbnb or a rental property. Your experience with us will be that of a five-star hotel stay. There is housekeeping, fresh towels daily, luxury bath products, and more. Your only task when you stay with us is to sip on a tropical cocktail (or mocktail) and enjoy your surroundings. Let our team, your private staff for the week, take care of the rest.

Do the villas have air conditioning? Costa Rica can get pretty hot, I’ve heard.

The climate in Costa Rica is pretty temperate year-round. Ocean breezes and cleverly placed fans are often enough for our guests (and great for the environment), but comfort is our top priority, and air-conditioning is provided in all guest rooms and indoor social areas of the villa.

Do you allow children to stay at the villa?

Villa Punto de Vista is not only kid-friendly, but children-welcoming! We love our younger guests and even have some complimentary kiddie gear available, like pack-and-plays, high chairs, pool toys, board games, Sony PlayStation 4, etc.
