Time, Beautifully Spent

The Villas are absolutely amazing. Each small detail is perfectly crafted to add to the experience of luxury. High end art pieces, local decor and fascinating design, adds visual interest to every nook and cranny. Nestled in the rain forest with breath-taking views of the beach/ocean, makes for a 360 view of natural beauty. We celebrated my daughter's wedding here, which couldn't have been more flawless. The staff accommodated each of our requests going above and beyond to make this a lifelong memory. The common areas served as ideal gathering places for a large group. The rooms were spotless and comfortable. I can't think of a negative aspect during our stay at Villa Punto de Vista. I am forever grateful to the staff for giving my daughter her dream wedding week!!

I was skeptical at first because I generally prefer simplicity and warmth or "coziness" over luxury, but my experience at Punto de Vista was excellent, far above my expectations. At first, the property struck me as being more focused on impressing the guest with architectural grandiosity than making them feel at home. During my 3 days there, I warmed up to the place, and found it wonderful, completely rethinking my first impression. The staff was outstanding, and inspired my rethinking. Every employee that I met was friendly, capable, and most impressive-- natural and warm in their interactions with guests. They were helpful and available, but I never had the sense of "hovering", always friendly and never fawning or artificial. Every single person impressed me with their communication skills in both Spanish and English. it may seem like a small thing, but staffers were willing to let guests speak Spanish. I used to teach Spanish in the US and in Spain, and had wonderful discussions about cultural and linguistic differences with a couple of staff members. I appreciated the opportunity. The practicality of the physical layout made itself clear to me during my stay, and I was impressed that 39 of us were so comfortable.
