How Far Ahead Should I Start Planning a Wedding in Costa Rica?

Planning a wedding is a lot of work. But when you’re planning a destination wedding where guests will have to book time off work and make travel arrangements, we recommend you begin planning at least 8 to 12 months ahead. Villa Punto de Vista can sometimes book up over a year in advance for weddings and special events, particularly on special days such as Valentine’s Day.

With our prime location surrounded by surf and sand on one side and majestic rainforest on the other, Villa Punto de Vista is a breathtaking venue to hold your wedding. Our luxury accommodations combined with our personalized service and attentive full-time care is what really sets our villa apart.

Our wedding couples enjoy help from our pre-arrival concierge to plan transportation to the villa for all guests, a dedicated attendant to help plan and ensure your wedding goes smoothly and a butler to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

What to Expect

Planning a wedding can be a stressful experience. However at Villa Punto De Vista we’d like to make your entire stay a relaxing, luxurious and memorable experience. Here are a few things you can expect as a guest of the villa:

  • Pre-arrival concierge. Before your arrival, you’ll enjoy the services of our pre-arrival concierge who can plan transportation the moment you step off the plane, recommend tours and outings according to your interests and even pre-stock your personal fridge with the items of your choice. Pre-arrival concierge services are available free of charge to any guests of the villa.
  • Wedding planning assistance. Whether you have a wedding planner to help you or not, our on-site wedding assistant is available to help take care of the details such as reserving hotels for guests, arranging spa treatments, booking outdoor adventures and organizing bachelor and bachelorette parties. If you have a wedding planner already, we’ll be happy to stay in touch to facilitate the planning process. Over the years, we’ve built up a trusted network of the best local tours, hotels, and spas — often at a discounted price.
  • On-site steamer. A common concern for many bridal parties is the availability of an iron or steamer to press dresses and formal attire before the big event. A professional steamer is available onsite for your use free of charge. If you require any dry-cleaning, there is a local company that picks up clothing at the villa.
  • Dedicated wedding attendants. On your big day, two of our staff members are on-hand to ensure the venue and restrooms are kept tidy.

The weather in Manuel Antonio is also ideal for weddings, not too hot or too cold. The average year-round temperatures typically range between 75 to 85 °F (25 to 30°C). With our unmatched scenery, luxury amenities and experienced service team, Villa Punto de Vista is the perfect location for a memorable destination wedding. Contact us today to learn more.
